Mental Health FAQ
Mental health is enjoying living, without stress or suffering. Mental illness is not enjoying living, feeling stressed, or otherwise suffering (such as fear, worry, anxiety, anger, or depression). Mental illness arises from believing the imagination. This includes imagining that something unpleasant that happened in the past will happen again: post-traumatic stress. Worry – imagining bad events – is the most common form of mental illness. There is a part of your mind, called nattermind or monkey-mind, that makes you mentally ill. Nattermind is a nagging inner voice that makes you feel bad. Taming monkey-mind is your only way to become mentally healthy. Mental illness is pervasive because people accept their suffering as normal, or they do not know how to become mentally healthy. Cultural beliefs worldwide foster mental illness. Live in the present moment. Do not harbor thought. Discard bad memories. Do not believe any imagined future. Yes, this is easy to say and hard to do, but it can be done. And it is the only way to mental health. Besting Yourself: Gaining Power is a short book on attaining mental health. For more extensive reading, The Echoes of the Mind is a comprehensive, college-level textbook on psychology and sociology. You cannot clue the clueless. If someone treats you badly and you have pointed that out to them, take action by leaving the relationship or having someone intervene on your behalf. Do not be clueless yourself by accepting bad behavior from someone else or being bad to someone else.
Purpose FAQ
Purpose is an expression of desire. Having purpose gives life meaning. The more constructive the purpose, the greater the chance that opportunities may arise that enrich living. This occurs because people resonate to positivity.
If this FAQ section interests you, you will enjoy reading A Canticle of Reality.
The purpose of life is to enjoy living.
Consciousness is the ability to be aware.
Your awareness determines the quality of your life.
Dimming awareness makes you stupid, for which you will suffer. Elevating awareness has many rewards, several of which are unknowable until you level up your consciousness.
Your mind fabricates the show which your consciousness witnesses.
Your mind is your instrument for living. You must tune your instrument to get the most out of it. Mental illness is an out-of-tune mind. Being in tune yields the best living experience. Besting Yourself: Gaining Power can help you tune your inner instrument.
In proceeding with intention, thought only arises when a doubt is raised. Uncertainty provokes thought.
Thought cannot comprehend anything. Thought is merely fiddling with abstractions because you don’t know what to think about something. Though it may assuage doubt, thought solves nothing.
What is more, thought is theft of awareness from the present moment. Though appearing to be intelligent, thought makes you stupid and miss what is going on.
Be smart and aware. Discard all thought.
Resolve to let the subconscious solve problems. After all, thought is a single puny stream. The subconscious is a gushing river of mentation.
Think not. This is the way to mental health.
The purpose of memory is skill. Using memory to indulge emotion, such as being sentimental, is an abuse of memory. Misusing memory is a major factor in mental illness.
The purpose of knowledge is utility (usefulness) or entertainment.
The purposes of the imagination are setting goals, solving problems, evaluating quality, and for entertainment, such as telling a story. Any other uses of imagination, especially those that invoke negativity, are self-abuse. Mental illness stems from believing the imagination.
Emotion is an amplified feeling.
Emotion has no productive purpose. Indulging an emotion lowers awareness, as your attention is on the emotion rather than what is going on.
Positive emotion is consciously enjoying the moment. You could enjoy that moment even more by staying focused and dismissing the emotive overload.
Negative emotion is self-abuse.
Overly emotional people are mentally ill, but many such people do not recognize that.
Science FAQ
Science has amassed abundant scientific evidence that clearly indicates the correct reality paradigm. Much irrefutable evidence comes from physics, evolutionary biology, and psychology. For a concise lesson on reality, read the Reality chapter in Besting Yourself: Gaining Power. The Red Pill: Mastering The Matrix is a short book in the science of reality.
Sadly, most scientists do not know, do not understand, or have ignored the implications of dispositive scientific evidence about reality. Modern science is now so institutionalized into narrow disciplines that polymaths are rare.
A polymath is a scholar with encyclopedic learning. Only polymaths can appreciate the vast scope of science, and so properly philosophize about its significance and implications. As his works amply show, Ishi Nobu is a polymath scholar.
The upshot is the most science is fiction because it is based upon a fictitious reality paradigm. A false foundation means that much science is religion, not knowledge. This is what institutional science has become.
We experience life perceptually as a dualism. The mind portrays consciousness as confined in a mind-body complex amid a tangible, physical world. The term dualism derives from the duality of an inner and outer world.
Throughout history, no one has ever decently explained what the interface is between the symbol processor we call the mind and the physical body that seemingly houses the mind. This unanswerable question is called the mind-body problem.
The mind-body problem suggests that dualism is false. Other scientific evidence further indicates dualism as a deception. This means that there is a singular force that composes Nature and its witnesses (consciousness). Reality must be a monism, emanating from a singularity, not the dualism that our minds insist upon.
Psychology has conclusively shown that awareness and mentation occur. No one with a lick of sense doubts this.
Biology profusely concurs. Cognition happens at every level of life. Even viruses must know what they are about and what to do to infect. Similarly, single-molecule proteins that work within cells must be aware to do their jobs.
Physics has proven that matter is made of energy. Then physics gets truly weird. Energy is just an idea, without substance.
Physics has definitively proven that matter is illusory. Matter is made in the mind. This reality paradigm is called energyism. The disproven idea that matter creates minds is called matterism.
Energyism teaches that a universal field of Cönsciousness/cöherence (Cöcö) localizes to populate the fields which comprise Nature. The ö in Cöcö signifies from unity diversity emerges (a circle to dots).
Keep in mind that existence emanates from a singular force: a monism. We speak of Cönsciousness and cöherence as distinct only for comprehension’s sake.
Cönsciousness creates the individual consciousnesseses that populate existence to witness the show of Nature put on by cöherence. Cöherence is the localized/diversified creative force responsible for the fabrication of existence.
All is process. What appears to us as objects are slow-motion processes.
For a short lesson on reality, read the Reality chapter in Besting Yourself: Gaining Power. Unraveling Reality: Behind the Veil of Existence is an introductory book on what science has discovered about the nature of existence.
Even today, most folk still believe in dualism. Otherwise, lacking a proper education and not knowing any better, many PhDs espouse matterism.
Ignorance is commonplace, including among those granted advanced educational degrees. Such is the state of modern institutional science.
Science has proven that physicality is a mirage made in the mind. The implications of this are profound. Consider what it means that matter does not matter.
Obviously, there is a tight, nearly seamless correspondence between the data by which a mind manufactures matter and its tangible experience. This is the miracle of Nature. That there are disjunctions between known phenomena and the matter associated with them provides the proof that matter is ultimately a ruse.
The Red Pill: Mastering The Matrix reveals the grand deception. Unraveling Reality: Behind the Veil of Existence explores the sciences which prover energyism.
Actuality is not reality. Your mind has been lying to you your entire life. Besting Yourself: Gaining Power is a corrective to overcome the mind's deceit.
Your consciousness is an incarnation of an eternal soul. When life dies, souls go through a purification process before being reincarnated for another life cycle.
We know this because the soul transmigration process sometimes goes awry. These anomalies give evidence of the soul transmigration process.
For more, read about the Soul in The Hub of Being.
We rely upon our perception to comprehend what is within us and what appears in the world. Our comprehension is fundamentally limited by the level of our awareness.
There are 2 actions you can take to know what is real and make the most of your life.
The 1st step is to elevate your level of awareness. Few people know that consciousness has levels, and that awareness level makes a huge difference in quality of life. Besting Yourself: Gaining Power can guide you to higher consciousness.
The 2nd step is to educate yourself. The more you know, the richer the experience of living becomes.

The Red Pill: Mastering The Matrix introduces the science of reality in an easy-to-read book.
Unraveling Reality: Behind the Veil of Existence is an introduction to the natural sciences, which are comprehensively covered in the Spokes of the Wheel book cycle.
If you are interested in the human experience, The Story of Humanity: Ecology & Consequence is a vivid history and predictable prophecy of our collective fate.
An all-seeing (omniscient), all-powerful (omnipotent) God was conceived as a social control device during the Axial Age, when states first began taking authoritarian power after the conquests of tribes. Secular power allied with religious leaders to propagandize God as a way to instill obedience to authority.
The ruse worked exceedingly well. For millennia, population majorities believed in a monotheist god. Even today, about half of the world's peoples believe in God (aka Allah).
The idea of a supreme being is ridiculous. The grand delusion of a God only shows how gullible people are.
Ideas are not real. Concepts do not exist. Reification is belief in an abstraction as existing.
Reifying a supreme being is a symptom of mental illness. Further, faith in fantasy expresses a spiritual deficiency: seeking pacification from reification.
Evolution is adaptation. At every level of life, hidden force fields of cöherence conspire to propose improvements aimed at survival and, somewhat ironically, making living a challenge. Adaptation, mentation, and consciousness can only be explained by a unified field which localizes into the diversity of Nature.
A colorful explanation of evolution is found in the "Evolution"section of Unraveling Reality. There is an extensive discourse on evolution in the "Evolution" chapter of The Elements of Evolution.
