The Mechanics of Existence

Existence is the eternal entertainment platform of Ĉonsciousness. Existence entirely comprises a dynamic flow of symbols.

Nature emanates from an immaterial monism. This physics principle is termed energyism, as contrasted to matterism, which holds that matter is the be-all and end-all of reality. Matterism fails in not being able to account for energy, life, consciousness, the generation of Nature, evolution, or anything elemental.

The fundamental problem with matterism is that matter is composed of energy – a principle which every modern physicist freely admits, but which almost all scientists don’t understand. For energy is nothing more than an idea.

The classical physics definition of energy is what it takes to put matter “to work.” As matter is transposable energy, that definition is a tautology.

The more formal definition of energy in modern physics – a conserved extensive property of a physical system – does not improve its resolution. By definition, energy is a vacuity, comprising nothing more than a conceptual construct. However delimited, energy is only a concept, not something which exists. The inability to pin energy to physicality is not a failure but a signification.

Noumenal monism begets dualistic phenomena. By definition, a phenomenon is the perception of an object which appears to be external to the perceiver. This essay concerns how the world manifests – how phenomena emerge. Nature is the exhibition of existence, from which phenomena transpire.

In physics, a field is a definable region where each point within it is affected by a force. Any force is, of course, energetic. As with energy, a field has no substance.

The basic mechanism in generating Nature is localization of information fields, some of which quantize into the appearance of matter. This technique is established in quantum physics as the means for generating all manifest energy and matter.

Likewise, the universal field of Ĉonsciousness localizes to populate souls which have seemingly individualized consciousnesses. A soul is a package of consciousness which may transcend a bodily life cycle.

Every aware, decision-making entity, whether protein, microbe, cell, or organism, has consciousness, a mind, and a soul. Transmigration of souls optimizes entertainment potential by imprinting psychological and other attendant pattern residues from one incarnation into the next, thereby tailoring life experience with a measure of continuity.

An interactive, intelligent force of coherence localizes to guide the evolution of existence. Like Ĉonsciousness, coherence is a unified field – a singular unicity with an illusory diversity. Coherence localizes to implement the minds which perceive its creations.

The quantum of existence is a symbol. Data-defined symbols are the objects of the mechanics which create Nature. Nature is the exhibition of existence.

There is a symbol for every possible perception, in a nested, entangled hierarchy. This symbolic tensor network comprises what would be an objective existence, except that manifestation is a subjective process. Every consciousness perceives, through individual minds, symbols which are mentally processed. A symbol only actualizes via perception. What results is a showtivity: an illusion of objectivity via partially shared subjectivities from Nature.

All the information that comprises existence is integrated. Physics implicitly acknowledges this with its “principle of least action,” which has been known in optics since antiquity.

Physicists successes in modeling phenomena suggest that the generation of existence is a mathematical exercise. Discoveries of more complex mathematical constructs, notably in geometry and calculus, have afforded progressive comprehension of the intricacies involved in the fabrication of Nature. Not incidentally, our understanding of dynamics lags impressively behind those maths which represent stasis.

The mind is a symbolic processor. Sensation is the process of mental uptake of symbols provided by local coherence. During perception, sensed symbols are massaged using memory, placing individualized symbolic instances into recognizable categories. Then, the meaning of identified symbols is determined, especially with regard to affinity or avoidance.

Concepts are mentally processed symbols. Each mind is amply stocked with concepts, including those which are innate. Precocious knowledge and memories are mental symbolic constructs from the distinctive sources of the soul and experience, respectively. The mental generation of symbols outside those derived from sensation corresponds with the parameters of an individual soul package and the filters which apply at the current state and level of consciousness. Any worldview is a belief system, not a knowledge system.

We perceive space as 3-dimensional despite our sensations being planer (2D). 3D space as we experience it is a mental projection, based upon temporal aggregation, via memory, of holographic symbols. Planar sensation greatly simplifies the processing of perception from what 3D mentation would take.

Yet the fabric of space needed to fabricate existence is more complex. Gravity and quantum entanglement illustrate in distinct ways that the 3D spatial dimensionality of actuality we experience is exceeded. At least 1 extra dimension of space must be extant for gravity to affect matter or for quanta to have synchronized behaviors (entanglement).

To summarize: via 2D sensation we perceive 3D. Yet the connectivity required for the generation of Nature necessitates more than 3 spatial dimensions. Our sensed view of Nature is a simplification from its constructive emergence by at least an order of dimensional magnitude.

3D as a spatial platform of experience represents a tradeoff of richness against economy. Living in a 2D “flatland” would prove relatively unadventurous. Conversely, life experienced 4D would require mental abilities far beyond what we can imagine. 3D is a sweet spot between complexity and comprehensibility.

As Einstein noted, “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.” Time is a mirage of the mind; a necessary construct for the entertainment platform, but illusory. The past is a no more than memory. The past does not exist, nor does the future. There is only the present moment.

That said, we cannot help but think of events occurring through time, as a vector from the past into the future. Space and time comprise the fundamental paradigm we are unable to dismiss.

Existence is emergently generated from the quantum level up, incorporating entangled yet localized symbol sets. The intricacy of this process is unfathomable.

Seemingly tangible actuality is a triumph of symphonic symbolic manipulation by a mind. A mind is a localized servant of coherence, with various mechanics and filters applied correspondent with the present patterning of its soul.

All that appears as objects are more accurately perceived as processes. Strong object orientation is one way that the mind deceives regarding the nature of Nature.

There is a natural dynamic to symbol evolution. The flow of symbols, in what we perceive as time, is a probabilistic patterning with junction potentials which may alter the pattern flow: a vector change.

A juncture is made by a decision of either a quantized mind or localized vitality coherence. Each organic entity has a consciousness, an attendant mind-body, and a localized coherence which supplies life energy and serves the mind with symbols which act as sensory stimuli. Local coherences are coordinated, providing a consistency which facilitates the ruse of objectivity.

A juncture may locally emanate from the echoes of acting out a decision, or even from making a paradigmatic shift in perspective which frames future decisions in a distinctive way.

Decisions may alter the vector of symbol flow, either as a ripple which eventually smooths out, or in propagating a new vector. A probabilistic outlier in vector change is the butterfly effect: a seemingly modest change amplifying through time and altering a system on a broad scale.

A local coherence making a decision that creates a juncture is called evolution. Evolution is a process of adaptation.

Adaptation is an opportunistic stab at enhancing survivability. Similarly, mental decisions aim at gratification, which succors will to live, which is the mental driving force to survive.

We can only guess whether one of our decisions was a juncture or a continuation of a pattern flow. This owes to not knowing the future and having only the haziest sense of what alternate dynamics might be or might have been.

Our mental limitations regarding dynamics makes living more challenging, and thereby enhances entertainment potential.

Our limited apprehension of processes is a complement to our strong orientation toward objects: a way to obscure what is really going on. Ignorance – not knowing the mechanics of existence – is an essential attribute of the entertainment platform. If there were no challenges, there would be no satisfactions of triumph.

Nattermind is the source of distraction and all mentation with a negative cast. Nattermind is the independent agent in the mind which enforces ignorance. Ignorance is partly accomplished by nattermind insisting that experienced actuality is real, and otherwise that what nattermind presents is valuable information. Subduing nattermind is the path to enlightenment: a level of consciousness which affords greater clarity via quietude.

Individual entertainment is partly an outcome of skill, and partly emanates from level of connectivity with Ĉonsciousness, which is the source of baseline bliss that affords the feeling of enjoyment and thereby fuels will to live.

We can only enjoy what we understand. The more one knows, the greater the potential to be entertained. Hence, attaining a higher level of consciousness and enjoying life are complementary skill acquisitions.

For all the complexity behind Nature, it seems almost paradoxical that the purpose of life is simple. The function of living is fun, which comes in moments of satisfaction and contentment. The highest level of entertainment correlates with the highest level of consciousness: realization, when the facility for symbol management is at its epitome.
